This studio provides a variety of writing exercises in order to have a better understanding of film grammar and learn the fundamentals of screenwriting. For example, during the course, the beginning sequence of a short film will be shown and the participants will be asked to complete the story. Even if they change only one element in the plot, they will need to think carefully about what else will change accordingly. Participants will also be asked to write about the character of a person they know very well and think about how they can design the scenes to convey the characteristics of this person to audiences. The workshop will provide a wide variety of similar exercises.
