Bige Örer

Bige Örer is currently the Director of the Istanbul Biennial and contemporary art projects at İKSV. There she directs the artistic vision and program for the Istanbul Biennial as well as a wide variety of cross disciplinary projects, including the Pavilion of Turkey at the Venice Biennale; learning, residency and public programs which are developed together with a multitude of international and local collaborators.



Işın Önol  (1977, Turkey) has been working as an independent curator predominantly in Austria and Turkey since 2009. She lives in Vienna. Önol worked as the director/curator of Elgiz Museum of Contemporary Art in Istanbul for three years (2006

Çelenk Bafra

Çelenk Bafra, curator and writer, lives and works in Istanbul. Since August 2018, Bafra has been the director of SAHA Association that supports contemporary art from Turkey globally: As a freelance curator, Bafra curated two group exhibitions in 2018: ‘School Square Galatasaray’ at the Pera Museum and ‘An Exile on Earth’ at the Zilberman Gallery-Istanbul following her curatorial residency in Berlin.
