In 2012 she graduated from university as a classroom teacher and started volunteering at Another School is Possible Association (BBOM). Immediately after she participated in the founding process of Happy Goat, the first BBOM school that realised the inclusive and peaceful learning model. For four years she worked with different responsibilities such as classroom circles, collective decision making and conflict resolution methods in Happy Goat and other BBOM schools. During this period, she took classes on nonviolent communication, children’s rights, deep democracy, restorative circles, mediation and sociocracy. During 2017-2018 she completed the Nonviolent Communication Foundational Training Program. In 2017 she worked for two years in a village school in Diyarbakir as a classroom teacher and deepened her practices.
For the past two years she has been working with teachers on inclusive and peaceful learning spaces through the project “For children, first teachers” in Köyceğiz and preparing publications. She envisions a peaceful life with herself, children and the earth in peace greatly enjoys working towards this vision.
