Kunter Manisa was born in Istanbul in 1976. He received his bachelor’s degree from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Architecture in 1999. He finished his master's studies in Building Research and Planning from the same university and completed his PhD program in Building Research and Planning. Kunter Manisa, who is an associate professor since 2013, has been working at Y.T.Ü. He is a lecturer in the Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture, Building Information Department. He continues to work one adaptive reuse, urban design, architectural design, industrial archeology, urban space and urban identity studies.
