Mehtap Serim is an architectural historian working in the fields of modern architecture and theories of art. After graduating from the YTU Faculty of Architecture in 2001, she received her postgraduate and doctoral degrees from the Architectural History programmes of ITU and MAU, respectively. She is the author of “Bir Modernlik Zemini: Barok Aşırılık” (A Ground for Modernity: Baroque Excess) published by Akin Nalca Publishing in 2017. She held academic roles at the Faculties of Architecture of both ITU and MAU.
