Ayça Telgeren (b. 1975, Gölcük) focuses on intuitively known, collectively shared things. She strives to reach the collective memory by starting from her personal history. Known for her paper works, which she adopts as a narrative tool, the artist's works evolve over time, taking on a variety of forms such as metal, gas concrete, concrete casting sculptures, videos, and paintings, depending on the required material and technique.
Telgeren completed her undergraduate and master's degrees at Mimar Sinan University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. The artist, who has participated in numerous domestic and international exhibitions, continues her life and work in Istanbul.
